This is one of the most common "which one do I pay for" questions, so here's the straight version with no hype. Everything below comes from the official pricing and help pages.

Quick take

These aren't the same price anymore. SuperGrok is closed to new customers, and its replacement, X Subscription Premium, is $30/mo ($25/mo yearly) against $20/mo for Plus. There's also an $8 X Subscription Plus tier.
What the extra $10 gets you: Premium includes Cursor and X Premium+ benefits, plus Grok Bot, cloud agents and automations, which the $8 tier doesn't have.
Video: Premium has it. It isn't stated on the Plus pages we checked.
Limits: X uses one weekly-refreshing pool shared across Grok (Chat, Imagine, Voice, Bot) and Cursor, and Premium gets 4x Plus usage. No message counts are published, but top-ups are available. Plus also has no fixed public cap.
Deep research: Plus lists it as expanded. We couldn't find it stated for X Subscription Premium.

Our honest read

If you'd actually use Cursor or X Premium+, Premium's bundle can justify the $30. If you just want a chat assistant with images and deep research, Plus is $10 cheaper.
